Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Sochi for bilateral talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, according to Russian media.


The meeting between the two leaders has already begun, and before the bilateral talks, they held a joint press conference. While talking to the press, the Russian president emphasized that they have many topics to discuss, especially in the context of ensuring security in the region.


"Of course, we will not ignore the issues related to the Ukrainian crisis," Putin emphasized.


For his part, Erdogan announced his intention to make an announcement about the "grain deal" after the closed part of the meeting.


"A 'very important' announcement about the Black Sea grain deal will be made after the meeting with Putin," the Turkish leader said.
