In Poltava, a court has decided to take into custody a local blogger and fitness trainer named Roman Zavoloka, Suspilne reports. He is accused of insulting the honor and dignity of a serviceman, as well as threatening and violence against a law enforcement officer. Police claim that he inflicted bodily harm on a law enforcement officer.
Roman Zavoloka faces up to five years in prison.
At the trial, Zavoloka expressed his position, saying: "I hate the aggressor country that started this war. And I am trying with all my might to reduce the illegal actions of people in power to corruption, who take the injured guys who were wounded and contused from the war. And instead of paying them and putting them at home, they put them on patrols on the streets and serve people with summonses, knowing that people will react aggressively to this."
In addition, the police informs that Zavoloka has posted about 70 publications online aimed at discrediting the military personnel.
