A court hearing is currently underway regarding the high-profile incident involving the shooting of a man by a patrol policeman in the city of Dnipro.
We reported on the situation earlier. The incident occurred on August 29 in one of the city's districts when two patrol policemen stopped a car with minor children in it. The investigation has launched a pre-trial investigation into premeditated murder and abuse of power by law enforcement officers.
At the moment, the Prosecutor's Office is demanding that the detained patrol policeman be held in custody for 60 days without the right to bail.
