According to information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the head of the State Emergency Service (SES), Serhiy Kruk, has been dismissed. His deputy, Volodymyr Demchuk, will temporarily perform his duties.
It is reported that this decision was made after an internal inspection of the SES. The inspection was initiated in connection with the helicopter crash with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"The internal inspection in the SES is complete. Based on its results, additional personnel decisions will be made," the official statement said.
