Danilov: Russian population should suffer from the war

The Russian population, including Moscow, the place where it was decided to attack Ukraine, "must suffer". The goal is to show Russians what a real war entails. This point of view was expressed by NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov in an interview with Radio Liberty.

He emphasized that while Ukrainian children, women and the elderly are forced to spend time in shelters because of enemy attacks, Russians should not feel safe in their homes, especially in Moscow.

"This is about justice, by the way. War is always about justice. And God will put everything in its place. And not only our children should suffer, people should suffer. Let them suffer as well, let them see what war is," Danilov said.

He emphasized that since February 24, 2022, when Vladimir Putin announced a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the war has spread to the territory of Russia.

"There must be more pressure on the Russians to make them realize that they are jointly responsible for all the actions that are taking place in Ukraine today. The war will come to Russia. And they have called this war there themselves," Danilov said.
