For the first time, Germany has officially confirmed the transfer of Patriot air defense missiles to Ukraine. Updated details of the military aid were published on the German government's official website on August 24.
The new list of military aid included a note on the transfer of missiles for Patriot systems, although the exact number was not specified.
In addition to the missiles, Germany handed over 10 more unmanned aerial vehicle detection systems (the previous number was 93), 40 RQ-35 HEIDRUN reconnaissance drones (20 were previously handed over), 16 Zetros trucks (the previous number was 140), and 510,000 rounds of ammunition for firearms (the previous number was 2 million).
