The Danish Armed Forces have announced the start of training for the first group of 8 Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16s, The Guardian reports.
"Eight pilots have arrived at the Danish military air base in Skridstrup along with 65 military personnel who will be trained to maintain the aircraft," the newspaper reports.
Denmark plans to provide Ukraine with 19 F-16 fighters. It is known that Denmark has 43 of these fighters, but the exact number in operation remains classified for security reasons.
