Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to visit Russia himself to meet with President Vladimir Putin. According to the Yeni Şafak, the information was obtained from sources in the presidential administration.
Erdogan's visit to Russia is considered important in the context of further extending the "grain deal."
The media also claim that Turkey opposes the use of a new alternative route for the "grain corridor" without the participation of the Russian side.
"He (Erdogan - ed.) thinks that somehow a point of agreement can be found," the sources said.
As we reported earlier, Putin's visit to Turkey, which the media announced for "the coming days," will not take place.
