F-16 fighter jets may be sent to Ukraine no earlier than in 12 months, The Netherlands Times reports, citing its own sources.
According to the magazine, Ukrainian pilots are likely to complete their F-16 training by next summer.
Only after that it is possible to supply the fighters themselves.
According to the commander of the Dutch armed forces, the F-16 is a complex system, and it will take some time to achieve a sufficient level of skill in their management before using them in combat.
