On August 17, the Swedish parliament decided to allocate a new military aid package to Ukraine worth SEK 3.25 billion, which is equivalent to about 270 million euros. This information was provided by the press service of the Riksdag.
According to this decision, Sweden will provide Kyiv with ammunition and components worth up to SEK 1.1 billion (approximately EUR 90 million), as well as specialized demining equipment and machinery worth up to SEK 2.15 billion (approximately EUR 180 million).
In addition, the parliament decided to authorize the government to sell a limited number of Rb 99 air-to-air missiles (AMRAAM) to the United States. This deal is part of a program aimed at transferring the acquired missiles to Ukraine free of charge to strengthen its air defense systems.
