Vereshchuk: We should not count on a quick end to the war

The head of the Ministry of Reintegration, Iryna Vereshchuk, expressed the opinion that the path to victory in the current war will be long and difficult. She shared her thoughts on Telegram.

"How long will the war last? We have to be honest. The path to victory in this war will be long and difficult. "2-3 weeks", "by the end of the year", "next spring" - all of this is not true," said Vereshchuk.

The minister called on citizens to prepare for a long resistance and struggle, pointing out the need to be ready for a long and hard fight. She emphasized that Ukraine will be able to win.

Vereshchuk noted that it is important to view the current situation as a marathon, not a sprint, as "a fight of twelve rounds, not three."

"We do not think about later. We are doing our best here and now. We do it calmly. Day by day. And we support each other. This is also important. That's why we resisted last year. That is why we will eventually win," Vereshchuk summarized.
