All Russian missiles and kamikaze drones launched by the occupiers to attack Odesa and the region on the night of August 14 were successfully destroyed by air defense forces and means. This was reported by Serhiy Bratchuk, an official representative of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.


"The enemy attacked Odesa region three times at night, using two waves of attack drones, a total of 15 pieces and 8 sea-based missiles of the "Kalibr" type. The air defense forces repelled all attacks," the speaker said.


After the attack, the debris of the destroyed targets was found, which caused damage to a dormitory in the center of Odesa and a supermarket. In addition, two objects were set on fire.


"The blast wave damaged windows and balconies in several buildings, and damaged cars parked nearby. Fires broke out in two buildings. Firefighters are working to eliminate them," - Bratchuk said.


According to preliminary information, three people, employees of the supermarket, were injured as a result of the attack. They were provided with medical aid.

Missiles flying toward Odesa had to be shot down over residential areas. This was reported by Natalia Humeniuk, a spokesperson for the "South" military command:


"This means that the enemy was directing the missiles there. In particular, the falling rocket fragments caused a fire in a supermarket. People were injured by blast waves and falling objects that were in the supermarket."


Meanwhile, the mayor's office noted that 7 educational institutions were damaged during the night attack. Windows and doors were damaged in kindergartens, schools and development centers.
