The agrarians of Cherkasy region have already noted a successful start to the grain harvest. The yields are showing positive trends compared to last year.
The news was confirmed by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Executive Administration, Igor Taburets.
According to him, the average yield is currently 57.1 centners per hectare. This indicator exceeds the same period last year, when it was 48.2 centners per hectare.
"We are currently harvesting in all districts. Winter barley is already in the barns. Winter wheat and peas are in the final stages of harvesting. And the mowing of spring wheat and barley, winter rye, and industrial crops is already underway," wrote the head of the regional military administration.
