Cabinet of Ministers introduced monthly extra payments for Ukraine's defenders

The Cabinet of Ministers decided to introduce monthly extra payments for Ukraine's defenders, including military personnel, law enforcement officers and rescuers, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Telegram.

"Everyone involved in the defense of Ukraine will receive additional payments during the war," Shmyhal emphasized.

At an extraordinary government meeting on August 9, a resolution was adopted that sets the amount of fair monthly allowances for military personnel, law enforcement officers and rescuers.

"Yes, during the period of martial law, the amount of additional payments will be UAH 30 thousand per month. For those who carry out operational management of military units and subdivisions from a distance, the additional payments may amount to UAH 50 thousand. And for those who are directly involved in hostilities, the amount will be UAH 100 thousand," the Prime Minister explained.

In addition, monthly additional payments of UAH 6,000 for conscripts and UAH 2,350 for cadets were established.

"We are doing everything to ensure that everyone who defends Ukraine from the Russian occupiers feels the support and help of the state," Shmyhal emphasized.
