Czech Republic is ready to facilitate the implementation of two points of Zelensky's peace formula, - Jan Lipavsky

At the summit held in Saudi Arabia, the Czech Republic expressed its readiness to help implement two key points of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's peace plan. This is reported by Novinky.cz.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavsky, said that during the negotiations in Jeddah, where Zelensky's peace formula was discussed, the Czech Republic offered its help in two directions: ensuring nuclear safety and prosecuting war crimes.

"The president and I talked about the consultations over the weekend in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I informed him that we offered professional assistance in the implementation of the ten-point Ukrainian peace plan, especially in the areas of nuclear safety and war crimes prosecution," Lipavsky said.

This was explained in more detail by the Deputy Head of the Czech Foreign Ministry, Jan Marian, who represented the minister at the consultations in Jeddah. "On behalf of the Czech Republic, I offered professional assistance in the implementation of the first point of the peace plan, i.e. in ensuring nuclear and radiation safety. We are also ready to help in the creation of a special tribunal for Russia's war crimes," Marian said.
