A group of eight Ukrainian pilots is already ready to begin training on multipurpose American F-16 fighters, Politico reports.
Once the training plan is approved by the Allies, the pilots will begin the training process without delay. At the moment, the date of the start of training remains unknown. In August, an additional 20 pilots will undergo special English language courses in Great Britain as part of their training.
In total, 32 pilots will be involved in the training - this number is enough to form two squadrons.
