A former People's Deputy from the banned OPZZH party was charged with treason. We are talking about Vadym Rabinovych.
This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation.
According to the investigation, the former deputy of national affairs distributed anti-Ukrainian propaganda information among the population and the political leadership of the EU countries.
It is known that in his speeches and interviews, Rabinovych spread manipulative statements that harmed the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability, state, economic and information security of Ukraine. The SBI notes that the activities of the former people's deputy helped Russia achieve its military and political goals.
Rabinovych was charged with treason (Part 1, Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The notification of suspicion was made by sending a corresponding request for international legal assistance to Israel, where the former deputy of the People's Republic is currently hiding.
Rabinovych faces up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Pro-Russian OPZZ is banned in Ukraine

It is worth noting that some representatives of this party have already been stripped of their mandates, including Rabinovych.
As it was reported, Oleksandr Ponomaryov, a people's deputy from OPZZ, was recently charged with treason. The SBU exposed him for cooperation with the Russian Federation.
