Ukrainian troops struck an oil depot and a warehouse of the Russian army in occupied Crimea, the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced on July 22.
"The defense forces of Ukraine destroyed an oil depot and warehouses of the Russian army in the temporarily occupied Oktyabrsky (Red Guard district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea)," the message reads.
Earlier, the occupying authorities of Crimea announced the detonation of an ammunition depot on the peninsula. Local social networks reported a fire at an oil depot near the Oktyabrskoe Air Base. The railway on the peninsula stopped working.
As reported by the local occupation authorities, all residents are being evacuated within a radius of 5 kilometers. Eyewitnesses report that in addition to hitting the airfield, an oil depot near the railway station was also hit. Everything burns and burns well.

Starting from August 2022, the sounds of explosions can be heard almost every day in the occupied Crimea. The occupying Russian authorities explain this as shooting at "Ukrainian drones", "air defense work" or exercises of the Russian military.
