The Ukrainian military continues to advance in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyan directions, despite the resistance of the occupiers. In particular, the AFU was successful in the directions of Mala Tokmachka - Verbove, Novodanilivka - Robotyne.

 This was announced by the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Kovalev during the live broadcast of the telethon.

 Thus, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyan areas. In particular, the Armed Forces are entrenched at the reached boundaries, inflict artillery fire on detected enemy targets, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.

 "On the directions of Mala Tokmachka - Verbove, Novodanilivka - Robotyne, they were successful, they are entrenched at the achieved boundaries. In the direction of Bakhmut, our troops continue to conduct offensive operations north and south of the city of Bakhmut," he said.

 In addition, according to the speaker, fighting continues in the Kurdyumivka settlement area.

 "The occupiers are putting up strong resistance, using reserves, and suffering significant losses," Kovalev added.

 Also, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position in the area north of N. Mr. Pryutne.

 "It continues to put up strong resistance, moves units and troops, uses reserves. The Ukrainian defense forces also continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions. 30 combat clashes took place last day," Kovalev noted.

 The situation at the front in the morning

 Russia is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk and Marinsk directions. The Armed Forces hit 11 artillery pieces of Russian troops. In particular, according to the Institute for the Study of War, the Armed Forces forced Russian forces to retreat from their positions northeast of Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
