A new military aid package announced by the United States on Wednesday, July 19, includes funds to help strengthen the security of Ukrainian ports in the face of Russian shelling.
This was stated by White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to her video briefing.
"These capabilities (which are announced in the new package - ed.) will become more and more important, especially now that Russia has withdrawn from the "grain agreement" and renewed the attacks on port cities that we have seen in the last two days," said White's representative at home
According to her, among many types of weapons and equipment, the new package includes means of ensuring the security of ports and harbors, which should strengthen the security of the port infrastructure of Ukraine.
