Geolocation footage published on July 15 shows that Ukrainian forces have made limited progress northwest of the village of Staromayorske (9 km south of Velika Novosilka). The Armed Forces also advanced 1 km in an unspecified area in the direction of Berdyansk.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that Ukrainian troops also continued counteroffensive actions in the Melitopol direction. In addition, Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Hanna Malyar reported that Ukrainian forces are continuing their offensive in the Bakhmut area and are defending new positions on the flanks of Bakhmut from attacks by Russian ground troops.

According to ISW experts, since the beginning of the summer counteroffensive, from June 4 to July 9, the Armed Forces have liberated about 253 square kilometers of territory.

Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar announced this in Telegram.

"Over the past week, as a result of offensive actions, a total of almost 18 square kilometers have been liberated. The total area liberated during the offensive is 210.5 square kilometers," she wrote.

Also, in a week, the Armed Forces managed to free 7 square meters. km in the Bakhmut direction, and the occupiers have been actively advancing in the Kupyan direction since the end of the week, intending to push the Armed Forces beyond the Oskil River.

Also, according to Malyar, offensive actions continue in the Bakhmut direction.

"On the southern flank around Bakhmut during the past week, we advanced every day. Over the past week, as a result of the improvement of the operational (tactical) position and alignment of the front line in the Bakhmut direction, the territory of 7 square kilometers has been freed," she said.

Malyar noted that, in general, during the offensive in this direction, the freed area is 31 sq.km.
