In Ukraine, 42,000 female military personnel serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, if we count together with civilian employees, this figure increases to almost 60,000. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Malyar.
"There are currently 42,000 female military servicemen, together with civilian workers, this number is about 60,000. "Five thousand Ukrainian women are now on the front line," Malyar reports.
She also noted that service for women is more difficult.
"At the same time, there can be no equality there. War with a male face. For women it is much more difficult. This is a very difficult male job with excessive workloads. And each of them overpowers every day all the opportunities laid down by nature for a woman. Our women are incredibly strong," Malyar wrote.
