As a result of the Russian attack on Sumy, two people were killed and 19 people were injured, the regional military administration reports.
4 victims remain in health care facilities, 2 of them are in intensive care, 2 are of moderate severity. 15 victims were given medical assistance and were sent home. One 5-year-old child is among the victims.

According to the police, at around 11:00 a.m., enemy Russian troops attacked a number of Shahed 136 unmanned aerial vehicles, there were 4 hits. As a result of shelling, residential high-rise buildings were damaged.
Places of temporary stay were provided to the victims. The issue of their placement is being resolved. People are also provided with medical and psychological assistance.
The State Emergency Service reported that the Russian attacks led to significant destruction in the center of Sumy. Rescuers immediately arrived at the scene of the incident and began to eliminate the consequences.
They carried out an analysis of destroyed structures, extinguished open sources of fire and rescued people.
In total, about one hundred rescuers and 19 units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine worked at the scene.
The border areas of the Sumy region are regularly under fire from the Russian military. Moscow, despite evidence and testimony, denies its attacks on civilian settlements in Ukraine.
