Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar announced the successful counteroffensive of the Armed Forces in the Southern direction.
She said this on the air of the telethon, Armiyainform writes.
"Enemy command posts, equipment, tanks, helicopters, places of compact concentration of military personnel are destroyed every day. Every day. If all this was not destroyed, it would go against us. That is, when we seize the initiative, it does not mean that we simply move forward. This means that we have brought so many forces to the enemy that he cannot stop this initiative," she stressed.
Also, Malyar noted that according to the assessment of the military, the execution of tasks is going according to plan. Near Bakhmut, the defenders advance on the flanks, and the enemy suffers losses.
According to her, it is necessary to understand that the enemy has brought a large number of its troops to Bakhmut, our defenders are fighting for the complete advantage of the occupying forces in both personnel and weapons.
Hanna Malyar also said that the front is being leveled in the south of the country. Here the Defense Forces are moving with varying degrees of success. Fierce battles are also ongoing in the Lymansky, Avdiyivskyi and Marinskyi directions. Here, the occupiers did not advance a single meter. However, this requires a significant concentration of forces and resources from the Ukrainian army.
At the same time, in the north of the country, the occupiers are conducting diversionary actions — they are constantly shelling the territory of Ukraine with the aim of concentrating our troops in these directions and making it impossible to use them in other areas of the front.
Also, Malyar said that Russia is again spreading fake news about the "conflict" between President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi and Commander of the Ground Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi.
"There is a trio that is used - the president, headed by Zaluzhnyi and Syrskyi, although the president here is primarily not a politician, but the commander-in-chief. These three surnames are constantly digested. Sometimes they are so convincing to our people that the mass media start asking this question, essentially working for Russian propaganda," said Malyar.
She noted that Moscow's key task during the war was to quarrel among themselves and weaken the military-political leadership.
"These people constantly work together, make collective decisions. The main task of Russia is to break the key management mechanism. We endlessly refute this, but the recipe is simple - stop discussing this topic," the deputy minister summed up.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that the occupiers are suffering losses in the south, and the collaborators are fleeing from the Kherson region to the Crimea.
Also, during the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 560 Russian invaders.
