Lukashenko ordered to bring the army to full combat readiness

The head of the Belarusian regime Oleksandr Lukashenko ordered to bring the army to full combat readiness.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to his statement during the ceremony of awarding epaulettes to senior officers on Tuesday, June 27.

"When the events in Russia were taking place, I gave all the orders to bring the army to full combat readiness. No one even in these snotty Telegram channels objected. No family, no wives, no children, no relatives - no one. The army for half a day, all the Armed Forces, including the police and special forces, were put on full combat readiness," he said.

In addition, he stated that the alleged Belarusian opposition, against the background of the events in Russia, was already ready to implement the scenario of an armed rebellion, but "a false start occurred."

"All the more so because our fugitives (oppositionists, - ed.) were confused. True, there was a false start. They want to demonstrate to their curators the presence of at least some results. They even managed to publish another appeal and plans. They said they are also ready to implement another scenario of an "armed rebellion": it is necessary to report," Lukashenko said.

 The situation in Belarus

The head of the Belarusian regime, Oleksandr Lukashenko, allegedly persuaded Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner PMC mercenaries, to stop his "campaign on Moscow" after his conflict with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reached its peak over an alleged attack on the Wagner camp in the rear.

As for the situation in Belarus itself, just recently the State Border Service of Ukraine recorded a small increase in the number of Russian troops on the territory of Belarus. On June 21, the so-called "mobilization exercise" started in Belarus. It takes place in the Minsk region and will last 10 days, until June 30. And on June 26, Belarus extended the ban on flights near Ukraine for another three months. This indicates that the threat of strikes by Ukraine from the territory of Belarus remains.
