Moscow is practically isolated, preparing for a siege, - GUR about events in Russia

Currently, Moscow is practically isolated by Russian law enforcement and military units. All military equipment, which until now remained in reserve and in the border regions, is being withdrawn to the capital of Russia.

 This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine.

 After Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the "Wagner" PMC, made a demarche and the movement of mercenaries towards the Russian capital began, a regime of counter-terrorist operations was announced in a number of regions of Russia.

 As part of the KTO, law enforcement officers received permission to:

 listening to any conversations and checking correspondence;

 carrying out detentions and searches without additional approvals;

 forced access to private and office premises;

 use of automobile transport by citizens and organizations;

 disconnection of all types of communication;

 "removal of natural persons from areas and objects".

 "At the moment, Moscow is practically isolated by the forces of police and military units. There are reinforced patrols at every intersection and at the exits from the city. A large number of buses without numbers and identification marks with armed men inside are moving through the city. The movement of interregional passenger transport has been stopped," the intelligence agency writes.

 In particular, cargo and postal transportation have been suspended in the capital of Russia. Law enforcement officers conduct a mass inspection of vehicles with an emphasis on large closed vans.

 "The movement of civilian and official transport along the M4 "Don" federal highway (Moscow - Voronezh - Rostov-on-Don - Krasnodar - Novorossiysk) has practically stopped. All lanes have been cleared for the movement of military and cargo vehicles. Armed guards are posted at all exits from the highway block posts.

 Prigozhin's military rebellion

 Yesterday, June 23, the head of the PMC stated that the Russian army struck the rear positions of "Wagner", as a result of which "a huge number of soldiers" were killed. After that, he announced a "campaign" to Rostov-on-Don to "deal with lawlessness in the army."

 After the Wagnerites gained control over Rostov and Voronezh, the head of the Communist Party of Ukraine declared that the mercenaries would go further - to Moscow.
