On the Lymansk-Kupyansk direction, there were two combat clashes during the day, but the enemy continued to conduct powerful artillery fire, on Bakhmutsk - there were no combat clashes, said the spokesman of the Eastern Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Cherevaty.

 "For several days before, the enemy tried to actively storm our positions in the Limansk-Kupyansk direction, received a powerful repulse. During this day, the enemy reduced his intentions, there were only two combat encounters. But the most active enemy was in the Limansk-Kupyansk direction in the artillery attack our positions. He hit our positions 535 times with artillery of various calibers and systems, 13 air raids took place," Cherevaty said on the air of the national telethon on Friday.

 According to him, during the repulse of enemy attacks, 31 occupiers were killed, 67 were wounded. A T-72 tank, a Hyacinth-B howitzer, an 82-mm mortar, and three cars with ammunition were also hit.

 In turn, there were no combat clashes in the Bakhmut direction during the day. However, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions 282 times with artillery and carried out four air raids.

 "Our artillery conducted a counter-battery fight and defeated the enemy. We managed to destroy 60 occupiers, wound 141 and take one prisoner," the spokesman said. Seven howitzers, two self-propelled guns, a Rapira anti-tank gun, a ZALA-type UAV, three ammunition depots, two command and observation posts of a mortar battery and a rifle company were also destroyed," the spokesman said.
