President Volodymyr Zelenskyі held a meeting based on the results of the London conference on the restoration of Ukraine. It was attended by representatives of the government and parliament.
This was announced by the head of state in Telegram.
He noted that, together with parliamentarians and government officials, they systematized the results of the London conference.
"Tens of billions of dollars in direct budget support. Five hundred companies ready to invest in Ukraine. Effective mechanisms for the confiscation of Russian assets to compensate for the damage caused," the president emphasized.
Zelenskyi added that the next task is to implement agreements on war risk insurance for investors, as well as to help the first companies to "enter" Ukraine under these security guarantees.
"We continue to work on protecting business from officials, improving the investment climate and guaranteeing equal conditions for all participants," the head of state emphasized.
London Conference
We will remind you that on June 21 and 22, the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine was held in London. Its goal was to attract international investments for the restoration of Ukraine.
A number of countries announced the allocation of financial aid to Ukraine. In particular, Britain announced that it would provide 3 billion dollars, and the United States announced a financial package of 1.3 billion dollars. Money from Washington will be used to restore Ukraine's energy system and infrastructure.
Germany also announced that it would provide more than 380 million euros for humanitarian needs.
