The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, stated the need to stop Russia as soon as possible, as it may later want to conquer all of Ukraine, as well as go to war against the former Soviet republics.
He said this in an interview with Ukrainian TV channels.
In particular, Duda compared Russia to a wild beast that attacks people.
"Russia cannot be allowed to win, because she will continue to advance. This will support her imperialism. She is like a wild beast that will eat a man. If a wild beast devours a man, they usually say that you should just hunt him down and shoot him, because she is used to eating human flesh. It's the same with Russia," he noted.
The Polish president emphasized that as soon as Russia comes to its senses, it will attack the rest of the territory of Ukraine, and then Poland, the Baltic states and the countries of the former sphere of influence of the Soviet Union.
"Perhaps the West does not understand this, but we know it very well. This is a necessary condition for the successful and fair conclusion of this war. What should it be? At least such as to restore the supremacy of international law. International law will be restored when Russia is pushed out from all the occupied lands of Ukraine," he added.
In the same interview, Duda suggested that the countries that offer Ukraine to cede territory in exchange for the end of the war to give their territories to Russia.
