The United States of America plans to convince the countries of the Global South to condemn Russian aggression against Ukraine.

 This is reported by The Financial Times.

 As the newspaper writes with reference to sources, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan will fly to Denmark this weekend at the request of the Ukrainian government for an unannounced meeting with representatives of the countries of the Global South.

 According to interlocutors of the publication, Sullivan plans to meet in Copenhagen with representatives of:

 of India;

 Brazil;

 of South Africa.

 It is noted that the list of meeting participants is currently not approved and may change. Probably, representatives of Turkey and China may also be among those present.

 The plan for this meeting is dictated by "the high probability of a protracted war in Ukraine and risks due to the cooperation of the countries of the Global South with Russia." The result of the meeting should be the conviction of the countries regarding the refusal of communication with Russia and the condemnation of its invasion of Ukraine.

 It is worth explaining

 India, Brazil, China and South Africa have not yet joined the Western sanctions against the Russian Federation. In particular, they are looking for "peacemaking" and diplomatic ways to end the full-scale war on the territory of Ukraine.

 For example, the South African Republic and China already presented "peace plans" earlier, but their initiatives did not include the withdrawal of the Russian invaders from the territory of our country.
