The USA allocated a new package of humanitarian aid to Ukraine worth more than 200 million dollars

The United States of America is providing additional humanitarian aid in the amount of 205 million dollars to the people of Ukraine, who suffered from Russia's brutal war.

 This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

 "US humanitarian aid provides vital support to the people of Ukraine," the message reads.

 The list includes the following:

 food;

 safe drinking water;

 protection services;

 livelihood;

 education;

 legal assistance;

 affordable housing;

 health care.

 "These funds also help victims of conflict maintain contact with family members who have been separated and, when possible, facilitate family reunification," the US State Department added.

 Humanitarian aid from the USA

 Since February 2022, the United States has provided humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people in the amount of more than 2.1 billion dollars both within Ukraine and in the region.

 Total humanitarian aid provided to Ukraine in fiscal year 2023 exceeded $605 million. It provides additional support to humanitarian organizations responding to the crisis and helps countries hosting and supporting refugees.

 According to US data, since the beginning of the Russian invasion, more than six million Ukrainians have left the country and more than five million have become internally displaced persons within Ukraine.
