The Ukrainian military has success almost along the entire front line - advances are recorded in the east and south. At the same time, the Russians have limited success near Bakhmut.
This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
The situation in Luhansk and Kharkiv regions
On June 15, Russian troops continued limited offensive actions on the Kupyansk-Svatov-Kreminna line. The General Staff of Ukraine reported that Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensives near Stelmakhivka (16 km northwest of Svatovo), Vyimka (25 km south of Kreminnaya) and Vesely (31 km south of Kreminnaya).
On June 14, Russian sources claimed that units of the 6th Combined Arms Army (CAA) were conducting an assault in the direction of Kupyansk and that Russian troops continued to hold a bridgehead on the west (right) bank of the Oskil River near Masyutivka (13 km northeast of Kupyansk ).
On June 15, the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Serhiy Cherevaty, reported that Russian troops had increased indirect fire on the Kupyansk-Svatov-Kreminna line.
Battles in Donbas
On June 15, Ukrainian troops continued counterattacks on the northern and southern flanks of Bakhmut. The spokesman of the General Staff of Ukraine, Oleksandr Shtupun, said that Ukrainian troops conducted successful counterattacks in the Rozdolivka-Krasnopolivka area (13-16 km north of Bakhmut) and Berkhivka-Yagidny (2-4 km north of Bakhmut).
Russian sources claimed that Ukrainian forces advanced in the area of Klishchiivka (5 km southwest of Bakhmut) and conducted additional counterattacks in the area of Ozaryanivka and Kurdyumivka (both 12-14 km southwest of Bakhmut).
Colonel Serhii Cherevaty, spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that during counterattacks near Bakhmut, Ukrainian troops recaptured 16 square kilometers of territory over the past two weeks.
The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Malyar, said that the Russian troops are transferring reserves from the Kherson direction to the Bakhmut area, although the ISW does not yet notice that Russian elements, previously sent to the Kherson region, have been reintroduced near Bakhmut.
Russian forces continued limited ground attacks near Bakhmut and gained some territory as of 15 June. Geolocation footage shows that Russian troops captured Sacco and Vanzetti (15 km north of Bakhmut) as of June 14. ISW previously reported that military bloggers claimed that Russian troops withdrew from positions near Sacco and Vansetti on May 18.
The General Staff of Ukraine stated that Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Orihovo-Vasylivka (11 km northwest of Bakhmut), Yagidny, Berkhivka, and Rozdolivka.
On June 14, Ukrainian and Russian forces reportedly continued limited ground attacks on the Avdiivka-Donetsk line. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Russian forces conducted unsuccessful offensives near Avdiivka, Maryinka (on the southwestern outskirts of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (immediately west of Donetsk) and Novomykhailivka (11 km southwest of Donetsk).
The Russian "military" claimed that Ukrainian forces carried out ground attacks near Pervomaiskyi (11 km southwest of Avdiivka) and Opytny (3 km southwest of Avdiivka). The Ministry of Defense of Russia admitted that Ukrainian troops were conducting offensive actions in the Donetsk direction, which probably includes the districts of Bakhmut or Avdiyivka.
"Southern Axis"
On June 15, Russian and Ukrainian troops carried out offensive operations in the west of Donetsk region. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Russian forces in the Shakhtarsky district (in western Donetsk) launched an unsuccessful offensive on Vodyan (immediately northeast of Vugledar and approximately 36 km east of Velikay Novosilka).
In particular, on June 15, the press center of the Ukrainian Tavrian Army Group reported that Ukrainian troops had advanced up to one kilometer in the Volgedar area, and Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi said that Ukrainian troops were continuing to advance in this area.
Russian forces are believed to have launched a limited ground attack in the Vugledar area to draw Ukrainian forces away from Velika Novosilka, where Ukrainian forces are continuing their counteroffensive. Russian military bloggers continued to claim that Ukrainian forces were fighting south of Velika Novosilka, in particular in the Makarivka-Urozhany area.
One "soldier" noted that Ukrainian troops had slightly advanced to the southwest of Novodonetskyi (10 km southeast of Velika Novosilka). Several Russian sources claimed that units of the operational-tactical formation "Cascade" struck Ukrainian areas of concentration in the area of Velika Novosilka.
Russian sources claimed that on June 15, Ukrainian troops continued offensive operations in the western Zaporizhzhya region. Russian military bloggers claimed that Ukrainian forces had unsuccessfully attacked southwest and south of Orichov, and warned that Ukrainian forces may be regrouping and preparing to resume offensive operations in western Zaporizhzhya region.
A number of "military personnel" also claimed that the intensity of Ukrainian attacks near Orichov increased as the weather conditions improved. A geolocation video published on June 15 shows units of the Russian BARS-23 "Sudoplatov" volunteer battalion firing on Ukrainian forces in western Zaporizhzhya region near Lobkovo.
Russian sources used International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi's visit to the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) to accuse Ukraine of endangering the safety of the plant. A Russian media aggregator released footage of various Russian officials escorting Grossi around the ZNPP and claimed that ZNPP employees showed Grossi evidence that Ukraine was endangering ZNPP.
The IAEA and Grossi have not published independent statements regarding the situation at the ZNPP at the time of publication. Rostechnadzor of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision stated that as of June 15, the ZNPP was operating normally.
At the same time, the head of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspection of Ukraine Oleg Korikov said that Russian officials at the ZNPP stopped the automatic transmission of information from radiation control sensors two weeks ago, which forced IAEA inspectors to manually record radiation readings on their phones and send them to the IAEA for monitoring.
Russian sources claimed that on June 15, Ukrainian forces conducted limited sabotage and intelligence operations on the eastern (left) bank of the Kherson region. Russian military bloggers claimed that Russian forces repelled a Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage group that attempted to land near Oleshok (southeast of Kherson) and Golaya Prystan (southwest of Kherson) with 40 personnel and four boats.
Oleshki and Gola Prystan suffered significant flooding after the destruction of the Kakhovskaya HPP dam, so it is unclear exactly where Ukrainian forces were able to land, although the occupation head of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, claimed that the water level had dropped to 0.1 meters in Oleshki and 0.25 meters in Naked Pier.
The authorities of the Kherson region noted that 27 settlements remain flooded on the west (right) bank of the Kherson region, and 17 settlements on the east.
Russian sources claimed that Ukraine carried out a drone attack on the occupied Crimea on the night of June 14-15. The occupying head of Crimea, Serhii Aksyonov, claimed that Ukrainian forces launched nine drones over Crimea, six of which were shot down by Russian air defense, and the remaining three were disabled by means of electronic warfare. It is reported that one drone exploded in the village of Dokuchevo in central Crimea.

According to the information of the General Staff of Ukraine, the Russians concentrated on the Lymansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdiyivskyi and Maryinsky directions. During the last day, 26 combat clashes took place there.
