Raytheon Technologies, which is the manufacturer of Patriot air defense systems, plans to significantly increase production volumes.
This was stated by the company's executive director, Greg Hayes, The Wall Street Journal reports.
According to him, the company plans to increase production to 12 systems per year.
In addition, as Hayes noted, Raytheon Technologies plans to deliver five more systems to Ukraine by the end of next year.
"We were impressed with his efficiency," Hayes said of the Patriot.
It will be recalled that the last package of military aid from the USA included additional ammunition for Patriot air defense systems.
