Russian occupiers shelled Kherson this afternoon. Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of Kherson OV, announced this in Telegram.
According to him, the occupiers fired at the coastal areas and the central part of Kherson.
As the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, said in Telegram, the Russian army opened fire on the city during the evacuation of civilians from areas flooded as a result of the detonation of the hydroelectric power station.
"The evacuation of people continues, and meanwhile the Russians are shelling Kherson. Ordinary terrorists," Yermak wrote in Telegram.
The Russian occupiers shelled the Kherson region 34 times over the past day, hitting the city of Kherson twice.
Today it was reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyi was on a working trip to the Kherson region.
