After Zelenskyі, Erdogan called Putin and also talked about the Kakhovskaya HPP

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Wednesday proposed to Russian counterpart Putin to create a joint commission to investigate the events at the Kakhovka hydroelectric plant.

This was reported by the office of the Turkish leader based on the results of his telephone conversation with Putin.

During the conversation, Erdoğan stressed the importance of "a comprehensive investigation of the Kakhov Dam explosion being carried out in such a way that there is no room for doubt."

"Erdogan said that a commission could be created with the participation of Russian and Ukrainian experts, the UN and the international community, including Turkey, and that Turkey is ready to make its contribution in this context," the report said.

The Turkish leader also discussed with Putin the implementation of the "grain agreement" and promised to "make the necessary efforts to establish a just world."

Earlier on Wednesday, Erdoğan expressed the idea of the said commission to investigate the undermining of the Kakhovskaya HPP to Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

We will remind, on the morning of June 6, the Operational Command "South" reported that the Russian occupiers blew up the Kakhovskaya HPP, later the regional military administration confirmed this information. Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of Kherson OV, reported that the evacuation of the local population from dangerous areas has begun.
