Three women bloggers, who spread the work of air defense in Kyiv on May 16, were given preventive measures in the form of round-the-clock house arrest, the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office informs.
According to court rulings, the suspects are prohibited from leaving their place of residence until July 31, 2023.
The criminal proceedings are investigated under Part 2 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides from 5 to 8 years of imprisonment.
On Friday, the Solomyanskyi District Court of the city of Kyiv granted the request of the prosecutor for the election of blogger and singer Inna Voronova (Chernetska), who "illuminated" the work of the PPO, preventive measures in the form of round-the-clock house arrest.
All four suspects during the massive Russian missile attack on May 16 in the territory of Kyiv distributed a video of the air defense of Ukraine. They posted the filmed materials on social networks.
On May 31, the Kyiv police reported that 9 more people were detained for posting videos of the work of the anti-aircraft defense.
Before that, at least two more people were detained in the capital since the beginning of May.
