Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte believes that Ukraine needs more Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems.
He said this when he arrived at the summit of the European Political Community in Moldova.
According to Rutte, the strengthening of Ukraine's air defense, in particular, the transfer of new Patriot air defense systems, will be discussed at the summit.
"High on the agenda today will be military support (to Ukraine. - Ed.). F-16, Patriot systems. Ukraine needs more of them. Therefore, we will work on expanding the Patriot coalition," said the head of the Dutch government.
It will be recalled that after arriving at the summit of the European Political Community in Moldova, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that at the meeting he would develop a "coalition of fighter jets" and propose a "Patriot coalition".
At the summit of the European political community, which will be held at the Mimi winery, joint efforts for peace in the context of the war in Ukraine and related crises, protection of democracy, strengthening of energy security and stability of European states will be discussed.
