Zelenskyi signed laws on simplifying the passage of the MMC

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed two laws on improving the work of military medical commissions and issues of document preparation for the treatment of servicemen.

 On the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the cards of the relevant bills No. 9154 and No. 9158 are registered.

 According to draft law No. 9154, military medical commissions can be established at state and communal health care institutions. Previously, such commissions existed only at the health care institutions of the Ministry of Defense, SSU and other military formations, as well as the State Information Protection Service.

 Draft law No. 9158 makes it easier for servicemen to issue a certificate on the circumstances of an injury (wounds, contusions, mutilations). The process of issuing and sending medical documents between military units and health care institutions is also being improved.

 It is expected that the draft laws will reduce queues and remove unnecessary bureaucracy during the passage of MMC.

 In Ukraine, the process of passing the MMC will be improved

 In Ukraine, they plan to gradually speed up and improve the process of passing the military medical commission.

 It is noted that the improvement of the process of passing the MMC involves:

 increasing the network of MMCs due to their additional deployment in civilian health care facilities;

 separate financing of payment for the services of medical workers who are involved in conducting medical examinations in order to assess the degree of fitness for military service;

 implementation of an electronic entry queue for the MMC, electronic document flow between military units, TCC SP and health care institutions;

 involvement of health care facilities from the Ministry of Defense system to work with the EHS (electronic health care system). Health care institutions from the Ministry of Defense system will have access to a person's medical history, in particular in the electronic medical card;

 introduction of modern approaches to service during MMC (accessible and convenient service);

 implementation of information support (hotline) and implementation of information products that will help the military to receive assistance.

 In order to pass the military medical commission, it is necessary to prepare certain documents. Full list at the link.
