Why are the Russians spreading a fake about the "injury" of Zaluzhnyi: the answer of Danilov of the Russian Federation

Russian propagandists are trying to obscure the information about the operation in the Belgorod region with fakes about the "wounding" of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksii Danilova, on the air of the telethon.

"They (Russians - ed.) want to break the information space regarding those shameful phenomena that took place on their territory when the citizens of the Russian Federation were in Russia. Of course, they need an information opportunity now to break the information wave," Danilov said.

He also emphasized that now everything is fine with the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, he is alive and well.

 Throw in the Russians

Russian propagandists began actively spreading information that Zaluzhny was allegedly seriously injured as a result of a Russian missile attack on the command post near Kherson.

Later, these fakes were refuted by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security, which released a video of Zaluzhnyi's participation in the opening of the International Conference on the occasion of Science Day at the National University of the Odessa Law Academy.

Danilov also said that the Commander-in-Chief participated in today's meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

 Operation in Belgorod region

It should be noted that on May 22, fighters of the "Russian Volunteer Corps" and the Legion "Freedom of Russia" announced an operation in the border areas of the Belgorod region.

They managed to enter the territory of the Russian Federation, inflict losses on the Russians, and also seize enemy military equipment.
