Another decisive factor. Reznikov mentioned the advantages of Storm Shadow missiles for Ukraine

Ukraine received a number of benefits after Britain transferred long-range Storm Shadow missiles to it. They can become a decisive factor on the battlefield.

This was reported by the Military Media Center in Telegram.

The media platform coordinated by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine explained that Storm Shadow missiles have a number of important characteristics for our country.

British Storm Shadow missiles are capable of hitting targets at a distance of 250 kilometers. This means that the Ukrainian defenders now have the opportunity to strike throughout the entire depth of the occupied territories, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The agency reminded that the distance from Kherson to Sevastopol in a straight line is 237 kilometers, and from Zaporizhzhia to Kerch, where the Crimean Bridge is located, is 295 kilometers. At the same time, from Kramatorsk to Luhansk - 128 kilometers.

The rocket can fly at low altitudes - 40-60 meters. In this way, it becomes inconspicuous even for the deeply echeloned enemy air defense.

The rocket is programmed a day before departure and it works on the "fire and forget" principle. It has a perfect guidance system, which includes not only GPS navigation, but also a terrain recognition system.

When approaching the target, the thermal imaging homing head is activated, which identifies the target stored in the memory.

The capabilities of such missiles, which are launched with the help of aviation, far exceed the mobility of ground-based missile systems.

The Ministry of Defense concluded that Storm Shadow significantly expands the capabilities of Ukrainian defenders in the task of striking the enemy.

It is worth noting that for the first time the information about the transfer of Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine was confirmed by the head of the British Ministry of Defense Ben Wallace on May 11.

At the same time, already on May 18, the minister said that Ukrainian defenders began to use rockets against the Russians.
