The possibility of an exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and Russia under the "all for all" formula has increased significantly.
This is reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
A meeting with the families of servicemen of the 503rd separate battalion of marines was held at the Coordination Headquarters.
During it, in particular, the possibility of "all for all" exchange was discussed.
"Today it is more real than, for example, three months ago. It also depends on the success of the counteroffensive and the replenishment of our exchange fund," said Bohdan Okhrimenko, secretary of the Working Group on interaction with the media and relatives of defenders of the Coordination Headquarters.
In addition, the relatives noticed that the number of confirmations of capture by Russia through the International Committee of the Red Cross has increased.
A representative of the headquarters noted that the current ICRC is much more effective than at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, its role is very important.
It will be recalled that earlier in the Coordination Headquarters it was noted that if Ukraine and the Russian Federation agree on the exchange of "all for all", it will not take place in one day.
In addition, the head of the GUR, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that the parties are discussing the exchange of captives "all for all" and are already approaching a positive result.
It should be noted that on May 6, an extreme exchange of prisoners took place between Ukraine and Russia, when 45 soldiers of the "Azov" regiment returned home.
