China's Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui plans to meet with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi on Wednesday, May 17.

It is noted that Li Hui has already arrived in Kyiv. A high-ranking Ukrainian official said on condition of anonymity that a meeting of the special representative of China with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi is planned after lunch.
This would be the first personal meeting of the President of Ukraine with a high-ranking Chinese official since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022.
Beijing expects Li Hui to discuss possible ways to resolve the war in Ukraine during his European tour. He plans to visit Poland, France, Germany and Russia.
We will remind, during the conversation with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Chinese President Xi Jinping promised that he would send a delegation to the region to facilitate peace negotiations.
Later it was reported that China's Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui will visit Ukraine on May 16-17. This trip will be part of his tour, which started on May 15, in which Hui will visit not only Ukraine, but also Poland, France, Germany and Russia.
