"A gift for Putin": $2.3 million was collected in the Czech Republic for the RM-70 anti-aircraft missile defense system for Ukraine

The Czech initiative "Gift for Putin" collected 2.3 million dollars for the purchase of RM-70 anti-aircraft missiles and 365 missiles for the needs of Ukraine. The collection was closed in 2.5 months.

This was reported by Dárek pro Putina on Twitter.

"We have great news. We managed to collect 2,300,000 dollars for the purchase of the Czech RM-70 multiple rocket launcher system and 365 rockets for it," the initiative said.

It is reported that 19,165 individuals and companies joined the collection in 2.5 months.

The missile launcher is expected to be deployed within a few weeks.

Let's add that the RM-70 anti-aircraft missile system has a launcher for 40 Grad rockets of 122 mm caliber. It also carries additional ammunition for 40 rockets for rapid reloading on the Tatra 813 armored chassis, which reduces the time to prepare for the next shot to a few minutes.

We will remind, Slovakia announced the collection of 1.2 million euros for the T-72M1 tank for Ukraine.
