Almost a year and three months after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the majority of German citizens support peace talks between the parties.
Such data was shown by a survey by the sociological firm YouGov commissioned by the DPA agency.
55% of respondents support negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow aimed at ending the war, and only 28% are against, the results show.
Also, the majority of Germans reject Ukraine's invitation to join the North Atlantic Alliance: 54% are against it and only 27% are in favor of offering Ukraine the prospect of NATO membership at this stage.
