"Now there is simply such an escalation of the situation in order to bring us to the negotiating table on Russia's terms as soon as possible," he said.

"But keep in mind, I am more than sure that if we are going to talk about something, and the president makes such a decision, it will be only on the terms of our country," the NSDC secretary emphasized.
He also added that no one is going to "surrender" the national interests of Ukraine, "no matter how much some representatives of some countries, which today actively involved themselves in this situation, want it."
It will be recalled that UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that peace talks between the Russian Federation and Ukraine are currently impossible. According to him, now Russia has no desire to "withdraw from the territories occupied by it", and Ukraine "hopes to return them".
