The Russian missile attack completely destroyed the Red Cross warehouse in the Odesa region, damaged five more recreation centers
As a result of a Russian missile attack on the Odesa region, the warehouse of the regional branch of the Red Cross of Ukraine with an area of 1,000 square meters was destroyed.
This was reported by the press service of the organization.
The fire completely destroyed the humanitarian aid for the Odesa region, which was in the warehouse.
In this connection, the provision of rubber aid and the activities of some projects of the Odesa regional organization of the Red Cross of Ukraine have been suspended indefinitely.
At the same time, a mobile hospital of the Red Cross of Ukraine was damaged in the Mykolaiv region as a result of a Russian attack.
"Part of the medical equipment, technical means and furniture became unsuitable for further use. "Currently, the liquidation of the consequences of the shelling is underway, after which the hospital will operate as usual, but in a different location," the statement reads.
The organization noted that representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross were not injured as a result of these attacks.
As a result of nighttime shelling in the Odesa region, a man died, and three more people received various injuries. This was reported by the spokeswoman of the press center of the Southern Defense and Security Forces Nataliya Humenyuk in a comment to the Suspilne publication.
According to Humenyuk, strong fires broke out in the areas where the Russian rockets hit.
"In the warehouse - more than 10,000 square meters. In the recreation area - 120 and 40 square meters. These are very powerful fires. As of now, they have been eliminated," she said.
Also, the head of the Odesa district military administration, Yuriy Kruk, said that as a result of shelling in the Odesa region, three logistics infrastructure workers received minor injuries. One person, who most likely was the guard found by the rescuers, was considered missing.
