The Prime Minister of Armenia will go to Putin to celebrate May 9

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, will visit Moscow to participate in events on May 9.

This was announced by the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the report, Pashinyan will pay a working visit to Moscow on May 8 to take part in events dedicated to the victory in World War II on May 9.

Earlier, UP reported that on May 9, only one president agreed to be at the parade in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin - the leader of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Zhaparov.

In Russia, in 2023, they already canceled a number of parades with equipment, and also completely refused to hold the "Immortal Regiment" campaign.

The Kremlin also canceled the "traditional reception" on May 9, at which Putin usually spoke to veterans of the Second World War.

Earlier in the day, Putin met with veterans in the Kremlin, gave a speech and presented awards.

The last such meeting took place in 2019. In 2020 and 2021, admission was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event did not take place last year either.
