The Ukrainian military did not shoot down a Kinzhal hypersonic missile over Kyiv on the night of May 4. No ballistic targets were detected in the airspace that night. This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security.

The Center for Strategic Communications reports that the Ukrainian media reported the damage of the Kinzhal hypersonic missile on May 4. The Armed Forces say that the enemy did not use this weapon.

"Fake: on the night of May 4, the Defense Forces shot down a Kh-47 "Kinzhal" hypersonic missile over Kyiv. This information was spread by the Ukrainian media. As "evidence", the resources cite a photo of the alleged wreckage of this rocket," the message says.

Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat stated that no ballistic targets were detected in the airspace that night. In addition, in the morning briefing on May 4, the Armed Forces reported only an enemy attack by drones.

"In a comment to Suspilnoy, Ignat clarified that there was indeed a possibility of using ballistics, but such a fact was not recorded," the Center for Strategic Communications informs.

On the night of May 4, 18 attack drones and one reconnaissance UAV were destroyed in the sky of Ukraine.
