The United States of America pays great attention to providing Ukrainians with air defense means.
This was stated by the coordinator of the National Security Council of the White House John Kirby, reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to his briefing.
The White House noted that thanks to the air defense systems transferred from the US and Western partners, most of the cruise missiles launched by Russia over Ukraine in the last 48-72 hours were shot down.
"We pay a lot of attention to air defense," Kirby said.
It is noted that the United States provided the Armed Forces of Ukraine with almost everything necessary for a counteroffensive, including armored vehicles, artillery, air defense systems, ammunition, etc.
"We've done everything we can. But that doesn't mean we're going to stop, it doesn't mean we're done. You're going to see continued support from the United States," Kirby said.
The White House reported that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, and Joe Biden regularly hold talks.
We will remind, on May 4, a reconnaissance drone of the United States of America was recorded over the Black Sea.
