A drone exploded on the territory of the Novoshakhty Oil Products Plant in the Rostov region on the night of May 4. This was announced by the regional governor, Vasyl Golubev, in his Telegram channel.
According to the official, the drone crashed into the structure of the inter-shop flyover under construction. The fire caused by the explosion was extinguished by the company's services. There are no victims or injured. Golubev assessed the damage as insignificant.
The Novoshakhty plant was already attacked by drones in June 2022. Then, as a result of the explosion, there was a fire with an area of 50 square meters.
Another fire occurred in the Krasnodar region. There - probably due to the fall of the drone - the tank of the Ilya oil refinery caught fire. The fire was extinguished in the morning. According to "Baza", a total of four drones participated in the attack.
